The Saturday junior competition is the largest program the association runs. It covers players from around age 7 through to 22, which is a wider span than most associations put in one competition.
From Under 10 upwards, Ringwood's Saturday competition forms part of the Greater Eastern Basketball Conference, a joint initiative with Melbourne East Basketball Association, which is Nunawading.
That means your child will play clubs from outside Ringwood, and will play at Nunawading's venue as well as at Ringwood. Over 5,000 junior athletes play across the conference each Saturday.
Games run from early morning to early evening, so a Saturday slot can land anywhere across the day.
A fully air conditioned four court stadium, formerly known as the Maroondah Indoor Sports Centre. It sits on the southern side of Canterbury Road between Heatherdale and Wantirna roads, in Ringwood, roughly 25 kilometres east of Melbourne.

For the Junior Hawks you need to attend tryouts, generally held around October for the following season.
