Casey Basketball Association runs junior and senior competitions out of Casey Stadium at Cranbourne East, plus the Cavaliers representative program. It runs entry programs from age three, which makes it one of the earlier starting associations in Melbourne's south east.

Casey Basketball Association, often shortened to CBA, covers Melbourne's outer south east from Casey Stadium in Cranbourne East. The representative program is the Cavaliers, or the Cavs as everyone actually says.
It's a growth corridor association, which matters practically. The population out that way has climbed hard, so age groups fill quickly and it pays to register early rather than assume there will be room.
Casey runs a decent ladder of entry programs, which is useful if your child is too young or not ready for a graded team.

Junior Cavaliers play in the VJBL, Friday nights against other associations. Above that sits an NBL1 senior program and a Youth Championship team.
Casey puts real structure around getting ready for that, with Future Cavs Academy, Rep Ready and Rep X. If your child wants rep, those are the programs to ask about rather than turning up cold to an October tryout.
For domestic, register a team or join a club through the association. Summer team registrations and the Under 8 round robin are handled through the competitions office.
