What you actually get

Every plan includes a training plan built around your child, a weekly check in written for them, clip feedback on their technique, and a written progress review every month. Every message happens in a group chat with you in it. The $250 plan adds a one to one session each month in Melbourne.

Liddicoat Basketball, coaching players aged 7 to 17

Six things, and they all happen every month

There is no joining fee, no lock in contract and no gear to buy. What follows is what the coaching actually consists of, broken down so you can see exactly what you would be paying for before you pay for anything.

Everything here is in the $100 plan unless it says otherwise. The $250 plan is the same coaching plus one in person session a month.

If you want the short version: your child gets a plan built for them rather than for a group, someone who actually looks at what they are doing each week, and a written review every month so you can see whether it is working.

What it costs, and what it does not

There is no joining fee and no lock in contract. Both plans are month to month and you can cancel any time, which means the coaching has to keep earning its place every month rather than relying on a contract.

There is nothing to buy. No gear, no equipment package, no app subscription on top. A ball, a phone to film with, and somewhere to shoot is the whole kit.

The full pricing sits on the pricing page. What matters here is what you actually receive for it, which is everything listed above happening every single month rather than a library of videos you are left to work through alone.

Who it suits, and who it does not

It suits a player aged 7 to 17 who already plays, domestic or rep, and wants to get better between team trainings. Most of the improvement in junior basketball happens in the hours nobody supervises, and that is the gap this fills.

It suits a parent who wants to know what is going on. Everything happens in a chat you are in, and you get a written review every month, so you are never guessing whether it is working.

It does not suit a family looking for a replacement for club basketball. This works alongside a team, not instead of one. It also does not suit someone who wants a video library to dip into, because the whole thing is built on a coach actually looking at your child each week.

If your child has not started playing yet, the guide to junior basketball in Victoria on this site is the better place to begin. Get them into a domestic season first.

How it starts

You pick a plan and check out. The signup asks for your details, your child's name and age, and their current club so the first plan can be built around something real rather than a blank page.

The first thing that happens is the plan, not a sales call. It is written around where your child actually is, and it lands in the group chat with you in it.

From there the rhythm is the same every month: a weekly check in, clips whenever you send them, and a written review at the end of the month that rebuilds the plan for the next one.
